Believe it or not, the Clemson football team will hit the practice field this week to begin spring practice.
Yep, you read that right. Clemson football spring practice begins this week.
The Tigers will hold their first practice of the spring on Wednesday, February 28. Clemson will then spread out a total of 15 allowable sessions over the spring and eight of those are allowed to be full-contact practices.
When’s the spring game?
The annual Orange & White spring game will take place on Saturday, April 14. The exact time of the game hasn’t been announced yet.
Usually the game is in the afternoon around 4 p.m. but that could depend on television and a host of other things.
This will be the only time in the spring that the public can see the 2018 Clemson football team in action. As normal, none of the spring practices are open to the public.

We will have a lot of coverage heading into the beginning of Clemson football’s spring practice and throughout the spring, as well.
The Tigers are looking to make it four-straight College Football Playoff appearances and there are a lot of questions here in the spring.
One of the big positions Clemson fans will have their eyes on will be the quarterback spot. What will Kelly Bryant look like? What about sophomore Hunter Johnson and true-freshman Trevor Lawrence?

Overall, none of us will really be able to gather a whole lot from spring practice, but this is a very important part of development and analysis for the coaching staff.
