Today we continue our analysis of Clemson football’s roster in 2018. Let’s take a look at the defensive line position for the Tigers.
Clemson football won’t play another real opponent until next September, but, that doesn’t mean we can’t take a look at their roster heading into next season.
The Tigers had one of the best defensive lines in the country last season and they return nearly everyone from last year’s roster on to this year’s team.
Here’s a look at the pre-spring depth chart.

2018 Position Outlook:
There’s a ton of talent on that Clemson football defensive line.
The Tigers return all four starters from a defensive line that was one of the best in the country last season. Clelin Ferrell, Christian Wilkins, Dexter Lawrence, and Austin Bryant will all be projected first round NFL Draft picks.
Outside of the starters, the Tigers will also get Richard Yeargin back from injury in addition to guys like Albert Huggins, Nyles Pinckney, and Chris Register.
Freshmen Xavier Thomas, Darnell Jefferies, Josh Belk, and KJ Henry will also be added to the mix.

This is going to be the best defensive line group in the country and it’s only going to get better as the Tigers continue to progress and build depth in the rotation.
