Clemson football signee BT Potter just won Chick-fil-A for a year and a scholarship by being named the High School Blitz Anderson player of the year.
BT Potter isn’t even on campus yet and he’s already showing that Clemson football “Best is the Standard” motto.
Potter was named the High School Blitz Anderson player of the year. As a result, he won free Chick-fil-A for a year and a $1,000 scholarship.
Potter, the nation’s No. 3 kicker, will now have the chance to do something we’ve all dreamed about: Eat free Chick-fil-A.
It isn’t all about the chicken….
BT Potter winning Chick-fil-A for a year is awesome, but he’s also getting scholarship money which will help him in academics and has done a great job representing the Clemson football program since committing to the Tigers.
Potter has a strong leg and is very accurate. I believe that he’ll have a chance to come in and compete for that starting kicking job with Greg Huegel and Alex Spence this upcoming season.
He also should be able to get in good with the veterans by offering them a free Chick-fil-A sandwich along the way.
Potter won’t be on campus until this summer, so we’ll have to wait to see how he performs, but he’s definitely going to be a guy to watch.

In my opinion, Clemson hasn’t had a kicker of this magnitude on campus since Chandler Catanzaro and I believe he has a chance to develop into one of the best to ever wear the orange and purple as a kicker.
Congrats to BT Potter from us here at Rubbing the Rock!
