Dax Hollifield

Position: Linebacker

Star Rating: 4-star

Height: 6-2”

Weight: 236

Homestate: North Carolina

Decision Time: 11 a.m.

Analysis:

Dax Hollifield told Clemson football “no” just a couple of weeks ago, but has since reconsidered.

Hollifield is thought to be a Virginia Tech-lean who is also considering Stanford. In all likelihood, he will have North Carolina and Clemson on his table of hats as well.

The Clemson coaches feel good about their chances to land Hollifield. I’m hopeful the Tigers can get a commitment from him coming back in this late, but I’m not so sure at this point.

He did have a great time on his visit to Tiger Town and Clemson is just an hour and a half away from his home town.

It will be interesting to see to say the least.

Next: Shadell Bell, another Tiger to transfer out of program

In the end, Clemson football will have another top-10 recruiting class and the Tigers will continue to reload as they have the past half-decade.

We will have more coverage heading into National Signing Day. Make sure you check back here on Rubbing the Rock.
