Clemson basketball target Zion Williamson has set his commitment date. Where he will choose when it’s all said and done is the question everyone is asking.

Clemson basketball target Zion Williamson has been “the talk of the town” amongst prep basketball for the last year.

Williamson became a Youtube sensation and has met celebrities like Drake on his way to becoming the most popular high school basketball player since LeBron James.

Now, the 5-star Clemson target has set a date to make his announcement.

On Saturday, January 20, Williamson will announce what school he will play one season for.

Williamson is said to be deciding between Clemson, Kansas, North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, and South Carolina.

He never took an official visit to either Clemson or South Carolina.

So, take it for what it’s worth, but I personally would not think that he’s going to sign with the Tigers, but other sources are saying the exact opposite.

Analysis:

Many sources close to the situation are saying that Williamson is favoring the Tigers and has been for quite some time.

This would be a huge splash for Brad Brownell and that basketball program if they could come away with a player of Williamson’s caliber.

Zion is a guy that steps on campus and is already your team’s best player.

He’s proven in AAU ball that he can play with the best and is an electric dunker. There will still be skills he has to improve upon, but this would be a huge get for Clemson nonetheless.

We will have more updates when anything comes across, but for now, it seems that the Tigers have a great shot at landing the 5-star small forward in a couple of weeks.
