Clemson football has made it back to the ACC Championship game for the third-straight year and this one may be the biggest yet.

ESPN College GameDay will be on hand and the matchup will be televised in primetime on national television.

Here is our pick against the spread for Clemson’s match up against the No. 7-ranked Miami Hurricanes in Bank of America Stadium on Saturday.

Clemson Football Pick Against the Spread:

Current Spread: Clemson -9.5

Spread Prediction: As long as the Tigers win by one point on Saturday, they will be in the College Football Playoff.

I don’t think it will be that close.

In my opinion, I’m just not sure Miami is much better than the teams Clemson has already handled this season. The Hurricanes have lived behind these gimmicks- like the turnover chain- all season and that just doesn’t ever bode well against Clemson.

I think Miami is more talented than a lot of teams the Tigers have played, but they rely too much on emotion. After a close first quarter, I think Clemson takes control of this game and ends up winning this one by more than 10 points.

Current Over/Under: 46.5

Over/Under Prediction: Vegas believes this game will look similar to a 27-17 type game. Miami has a really solid defense with a talented secondary and explosive front line.

The problem with the Hurricanes, however, is their offense. If you can stop the run, they’re not going to be able to score.

I don’t think either team scores a ton of points. It may end up looking like 30-17, which is right at the total.
