13 Clemson football players were named to the 2017 All-ACC team, which was officially announced on Monday afternoon by officials.

The 2017 ACC Atlantic Division champions had 13 total players on the 2017 All-ACC team, which was released at 3 p.m. Monday afternoon by the conference.

Clemson football, who has won the last two ACC Championships, had the most selections of any team in the conference.

Second was Miami with 10 and then both Wake Forest and NC State had eight, which is a bit surprising if you think about it.

Here are the 13 Clemson football players to make the 2017 All-ACC team:

First Team:

OT Mitch Hyatt

OG Tyrone Crowder

C Justin Falcinelli

DE Clelin Ferrell

DT Dexter Lawrence

DT Christian Wilkins

Second Team:

DE Austin Bryant

LB Dorian O’Daniel

Third Team:

WR Hunter Renfrow

WR Deon Cain

OG Taylor Hearn

RB Travis Etienne

LB Kendall Joseph

Ray-Ray McCloud, Sean Pollard, Trayvon Mullen, and Ryan Carter received honorable mentions, as well by The ACC.

Thoughts:

I don’t have too many complaints as it pertains to the All-ACC team. I think it’s pretty impressive that Clemson football has three of the four starters on defensive line for the conference.

Bradley Chubb of NC State was selected over Austin Bryant, who made second team, for the fourth and final spot.

I think it also speaks highly of Travis Etienne that he was named to the third team at running back for the conference as a freshman who didn’t even get the opportunity to log a lot of snaps in the first half of the season.

Overall, it’s clear the Tigers are loaded with talent and we will be seeing more accolades similar to this for Clemson football players as we get into the postseason.
