Clemson football defeated in-state rival South Carolina 34-10 on Saturday in Williams-Brice. To celebrate, the Tigers danced to the Gamecock’s theme song.
When we win, we dance.
The Clemson football team did plenty of dancing Saturday night after beating in-state rival South Carolina.
The Tigers picked up a 34-10 win over the Gamecocks and, to be honest, it really wasn’t that close.
After the win, Clemson danced in the locker room to celebrate the win, but this time the music blaring was something different, but yet oh so familiar.
Thoughts:
Don’t you love when Clemson football beats South Carolina?
To me, it never gets old. It’s awesome seeing the guys get to celebrate a dominant victory over the hated Gamecocks. Especially after how they were treated by the #ForeverToThee crowd.
The South Carolina student section decided it would be great to throw bottles and trash at the players during the game, at halftime, and after the game.
Fortunately, the amount of trash throwing declined as the game went on. Not because officials did much of anything about it, but because Gamecock fans began filing out as they saw the Tigers take a commanding 34-0 lead.
After that, Clemson cruised to an easy victory.
Tonight the Tigers will celebrate, but then after that you will see them get back in business mode. Clemson has just one game standing in between them and the College Football Playoff.
If the Tigers can beat Miami in the ACC Championship game next Saturday, they will basically clinch their third-straight berth into the College Football Playoff.
