Clemson Football vs. South Carolina: Prediction, Analysis
Clemson football will take on in-state rival South Carolina on Saturday. Here is our prediction and analysis for the matchup.
Well, Clemson football fans, it’s finally here.
The Tigers have played 11 games and there’s just one more left in the regular season. Clemson will travel down to Williams-Brice Stadium to take on in-state rival South Carolina at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Clemson comes into this one ranked No. 3 in the nation with a 10-1 record while the Gamecocks are ranked No. 24 and are 8-3 overall.

Analysis:
I’ve spent time watching film on both teams this week. I’m really impressed with what Will Muschamp has done with South Carolina.
The Gamecocks are 8-3 and, while they may have played a relatively weak schedule, they have made major improvements from last year.
That being said, they still aren’t on the “elite level.” Unfortunately for Gamecock fans, they just aren’t on the same level as the Tigers.
Clemson football is just better at almost every single position.
I do expect, however, for South Carolina to keep the game close for a while. The Gamecocks will be running high on emotions as they try to defend their home field on Saturday.
That, in and of itself, may keep the game a little tighter than if it were played in Clemson or at a neutral site.
I think Clemson will pull away as we get deeper into the game and, most likely, beat the spread, which is currently set at 14 points.
