Clemson football will travel down to Williams-Brice Stadium to take on the Gamecocks tonight. ESPN voters believe South Carolina will pick up the win.

The 2017 Clemson football regular season has just one game remaining.

The Tigers will travel down to Williams-Brice stadium to take on in-state rival South Carolina at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Clemson has been put on “upset alert” by ESPN and, on Twitter, it seems the majority of people believe that the Gamecocks will not just keep the game close, but pull off the win.

According to ESPN, more than 20,000 people voted and 52% believe South Carolina will walk away the victors on Saturday night.

Thoughts:

There must be a lot of Gamecock fans on Twitter. That’s my only explanation.

In my opinion, I think South Carolina fans came out in droves to vote while Clemson football fans decided it wasn’t even worth their time to click the button.

I can understand the diehard fan picking their own team, but it is a little surprising that South Carolina won the majority.

Anyone with any kind of a pulse on the world of College Football knows that the Gamecocks don’t stand much of a chance.

As a matter of fact, there’s really only way that South Carolina beats Clemson: The Tigers beat themselves.

Clemson is just better at basically every position on paper. Of course, games aren’t won on paper.

The Tigers will need to come out focused and ready to go. If they do that, they will be able to prove the “naysayers” wrong and pick up their fourth-straight win in the series.
