Spread Prediction: It’s always tough to get a feel for the rivalry game. On paper, Clemson is much better than South Carolina.
I mean, a lot better.
The Gamecocks have made strides in the second year under Will Muschamp, but they are just not on the level of Clemson. They haven’t recruited at as high of a level and they are still playmakers behind the Tigers.
I think raw emotion and home field advantage keep this one close for a half or so, but Clemson pulls away. Will it be by 14 or more?
It’s tough to say, but right now I’m going to play a little “reverse psychology” and take the Gamecocks +14 with the hopes that I’m proven completely wrong. But I could see a score similar to 27-17 or 31-20 where the Tigers win handily, but the score isn’t quite 14.

Clemson’s defense may be a good reason to take the under, but I’m going to go “over”
I think something like 31-20 is very reachable or maybe 30-17, something like that. I think the Tigers score anywhere from 27+ and I think the Gamecocks are held to 20 or less.
