Clemson football scored a lot of points today. After each score, the Tiger has to do pushups. Just how many did he do today on Military Appreciation Day?

Clemson football scored a total of 61 points today.

61 points leads to 61 pushups, but the Tiger mascot for Clemson football had to a lot more than that.

Just how many did he and the ROTC for Clemson University do today?

Here’s a look at the numbers:

  • Halftime: 139
  • Final: 355

After each score, the Tiger must do as many pushups as Clemson football has scored. So, if the Tigers have seven points, he has to do seven pushups.

Today, the offense scored the most points they have of all season. The leader before this was Kent State at the beginning of the season when Clemson scored 56.

Clemson also scored 56 against South Carolina last year, just to give you a friendly reminder as we head into rivalry week.

The Tiger mascot had to do a total of 355 pushups and 139 by halftime. Talk about a fun afternoon?

Of course, after a while, you can tell the pushups take a toll on the mascot as he doesn’t necessarily drop all the way to the ground. Still, you have to give mad respect to the Tiger for sticking it out and getting it done today.

It’s often overlooked, so we thought we’d give a little shoutout to both the Tiger and the Clemson ROTC today as it was Military Appreciation Day.
