4. Who are some players for FSU that we may not know much about, but will make a difference in this game?

Jason: If he does end up playing after suffering a knee injury against Louisville, running back Jacques Patrick could be the key to any chance of a FSU win since he can be a two-headed monster with Cam Akers, who has impressed in his freshman season.

Another name on offense to watch would be tight end Ryan Izzo, who has been a safety valve for Blackman during much of the season. On defense, Brian Burns could be the key to getting at Bryant and the Clemson offense. He hasn’t lived up to his lofty freshman season numbers, but if he is one the defensive line becomes light years better.

Kelvin: DeMarcus Christmas(D-Line), Levonta Taylor(CB) are two players on defense that come to mind. Taylor was the No. 1 CB recruit in the nation in 2016 and has quietly had a great sophomore season after playing injured much of his freshman season. Christmas will help anchor the middle beside Derrick Nnadi and has also had a strong season. He’s capable of being dominant at times and will definitely command attention. Offensively, you probably have heard of him…but there’s a true freshman running back named Cam Akers who is starting to become the running back everyone thought he would be.
