The first College Football Playoff poll was released last night and Clemson football was ranked No. 4. There’s one thing left to do in the regular season.
The first College Football Playoff rankings were released on Tuesday night.
Clemson football, even after a loss to Syracuse back in mid-October, is ranked No. 4 in the poll behind Georgia, Alabama, and Notre Dame.
Now, the Tigers have a tough November slate sitting in the way of them and a third-straight berth into the College Football Playoff.
The month of November is, without a doubt, the most unpredictable month each and every season.
There are upsets that no one sees coming, many teams falter under pressure, and several other programs are unable to get over a tough road test or tricky game somewhere along the way.
But, the best teams rise to the occasion.
In all truthfulness, there’s a lot left on the table for Clemson football.
If everything goes as planned, the Tigers will play two championship games–really three–in the month of November.
First, the game at NC State this weekend is the de facto ACC Atlantic Division Championship game. The winner of this game controls their own destiny to the conference title game. Well, if Clemson wins that one, the following week against Florida State is the ACC Atlantic Championship.
Even though it’s not the circumstances that we thought we would have, Clemson football will lock up the Atlantic Division with a win over the Seminoles. That game you will, without a doubt, see the orange pants come out.
Then just two weeks after the match up with Florida State, Clemson will play for the state championship when they take on rival South Carolina in Columbia.

November just has a different atmosphere. It’s when champions are made. A lot of teams falter and not many can recover. Clemson will need to win-out this month in order to make it not only to the College Football Playoff, but to the ACC Championship game.
So, basically, there’s just one thing to do.
It’s time to make it a “November to Remember.”
