Clemson football improved to 7-1 on the season with a win over cross-divisional foe Georgia Tech on Saturday.
The Tigers defeated the Yellow Jackets 24-10, but led 24-3 in the third quarter. Clemson was in control of the game from start-to-finish and that was refreshing to see after the sour taste the loss to Syracuse left a couple of weeks ago.

Injury Updates:
Tanner Muse suffered a broken hand, but wanted to keep playing so they put him in a cast and allowed him to play in the game.
It hasn’t been said yet what they will do with him now. I’d expect that Muse is able to continue playing the rest of the season, but that depends on a host of different things that only the training staff will know.
Dexter Lawrence rolled his ankle, but was able to go back in. From all accounts, he is doing well and won’t miss any time.
Thoughts:
Overall, the Tigers came out of the monsoon pretty well. There weren’t any major injuries, but you really can’t afford to lose Tanner Muse for an extended amount of time.
Isaiah Simmons looked good, but the depth in that defensive backfield is already really thin. Hopefully he’ll be able to go.
Other than that, I think most Tiger fans are ready to fast-forward a week and see what happens up in Raleigh.

That game with NC State will basically determine what kind of season this is for Clemson football. Do the Tigers make a College Football Playoff run or do they finish 10-2 or 9-3? That could be determined largely by what happens next week against the Wolfpack.
