What are some keys to the game for Syracuse?

Paul A. Esden Jr. –

Kind of building off that last question a key for the Orange is to maximize the home field advantage on a spooky Friday the 13th in the Carrier Dome. I don’t know what kind of VooDoo the team can do, but they’re going to need everything to pull off one of the biggest upsets in recent memory.

Another key is getting the running game going, they’ve struggled to do that consistently and that means more than just Eric Dungey running around. Dontae Strickland had a bounceback game last week, despite the pathetic yards per attempt. So if you can run the ball, SU has a chance. If not, they’ll become a one-dimensional offense and Clemson’s front seven can pin their ears back and get to work. That’d be bad news for the Orange.
