Clemson football will travel to the Carrier Dome to take on Syracuse on Friday. Orange coach Dino Babers doesn’t really see any weaknesses in the Tigers.

Clemson football will travel up to Syracuse, New York to take on the Orange in the Carrier Dome on Friday night.

The Tigers are 6-0 with wins over Louisville, Auburn, and Virginia Tech.

Syracuse, on the other hand, is 3-3, 1-1 in the ACC with a win over Pittsburgh last week.

Orange coach Dino Babers spoke to the media on his weekly ACC teleconference and it was clear he had nothing but respect for Clemson.

As a matter of fact, Babers said that Clemson and Alabama are on a different level than the rest of the teams in College Football.

"“Those guys are different than everybody else. Alabama’s different than everybody else. Clemson is different than everybody else. There’s nothing truer than that statement… That’s why they won the national championship last year, and Alabama… has won it so much.”"

Babers went on to say that he believes Clemson football should be ranked No. 1. He said that the Tigers have “no holes” on defense and are extremely talented on offense.

Thoughts:

Dino Babers is a classy guy. Do you remember when Syracuse, led by Scott Shafer, was talking trash about Clemson heading into the game?

The Tajh Boyd-led Tigers went up to the Carrier Dome and dismantled the Orange 49-14. Babers, on the other hand, gives credit where credit is deserved.

He has transformed the Syracuse offense into something respectable and is bringing that program along rather nicely.

The Orange still aren’t ready to compete with Clemson, but they are certainly coming along. I’d expect them to compete for bowl eligibility and take yet another step forward this season.

I agree with Babers, as well, that both Clemson and Alabama are on a different level than from anyone else on the College Football landscape.
