1. Is the shut out coming?

Did you see Christian Wilkins and Dexter Lawrence on the sidelines against Virginia Tech in the fourth quarter when the Hokies scored that touchdown to make it 17 points?

They were crushed.

You would’ve thought that was the game-deciding score.

Those guys are going to be ready to go.

Wake Forest scored 19 against a solid Florida State defense and 20 against App State the week before.

Could Clemson football’s fiery defense and Wake Forest’s lack of an elite offense lead to a shut out?

It could.

I think the Tigers will, for the most, completely control the Demon Deacons on the lines of scrimmage.

If they can refrain from giving up the big play,  I see no way that Wake Forest scores on the starters.

The question will be if the second-string guys can preserve the shutout in the second half.

Is this the week that the defense earns it shutout? It’s going to happen at some point this season? Who says Homecoming couldn’t be the day?
