Clemson Football: National Analysts React to Tigers’ win over Virginia Tech
The Clemson football team knocked off Virginia Tech 31-17 on the road Saturday. National Analysts took to Twitter to react to the Tigers’ win.
The Clemson football team dismantled the Virginia Tech Hokies on their own turf, 31-17 on Saturday.
The Tigers improved to 5-0 and have now gotten through the month of September unscathed.
Clemson football became the first program in the history of College Football to beat three top-15 AP poll opponents before October.
Here is what some of the national analysts had to say about Clemson football following the win.
I do. It’s amazing how people have done a complete about-face on Clemson. Some analysts at the beginning of the season didn’t even the Tigers finishing third in the ACC Atlantic.
Now, the Tigers are considered one of the favorites to win the National Championship.
I love this tweet by Booger McFarland. He compared NCAA Football with Clemson and Alabama to the NBA with Golden State and Cleveland.
A fair comparison? I believe so.
Cowherd says right about the same thing. It’s amazing how the two teams have separated themselves so much.
Both have tremendous depth and extremely talented defenses.
Virginia Tech coach Justin Fuente had nothing but good things to say about the Tigers after a loss on Saturday.
Fuente said he “just doesn’t see a weakness” according to ESPN’s David Hale.
Virginia Tech gave a valiant effort, but it was just clear that Clemson football was the better team at basically every facet of the game.
What a statement Clemson has made through the month of September.
The Tigers have separated themselves as the “elite of the elite.” Now, it will take staying healthy and continuing to be focused. The College Football season still has two long months left.
