Secondary: B

With Tanner Muse and Van Smith back in the starting lineup, Clemson’s secondary played well against Boston College. The Tigers held Boston College to 141 yards passing and zero touchdowns.

Sophomore, Trayvon Mullen picked off Eagles’ quarterback, Anthony Brown late in the second quarter, as did AJ Terrell late in the fourth. It was a solid outing for this Clemson secondary, whom gave up 317 yards and three touchdowns to Lamar Jackson and the Louisville Cardinals.

With Boston College in the rear-view mirror, Clemson’s secondary has their work cut out for them entering week five. Virginia Tech’s offense has experienced a resurgence under second year head coach, Justin Fuente. Redshirt freshman quarterback, Justin Jackson has started the season on fire.
