Linebackers: B+

Clemson’s linebackers were impressive against Boston College. Junior, Kendall Joseph was all over the field on Saturday, recording 12 total tackles and one tackle for loss. Sophomore, Tre Lamar continued to improve, tallying eight total tackles on the day.

For whatever reason, Dorian O’Daniel was sidelined for much of this contest. It’s not clear whether he was nagged by an injury or it was disciplinary, but, his presence was missed. O’Daniel has led the way for this Clemson defense through the early part of the season.

Desipte losing Ben Boulware to the NFL, Clemson’s linebackers haven’t missed a beat this season. The aforementioned Lamar has played well in Boulware’s absence. At 6-foot-4, 240 pounds, he has all of the physical tools, it was simply a matter of him getting experience under his belt.
