Pass catchers: B-

Clemson’s wide receivers were far from bad against Boston College, however, they didn’t play up to their usual standard. The Tigers have one of the top receiving cores in the country and they didn’t dominant as expected against the Eagles.

Hunter Renfrow led the Tigers with six catches for 53 yards. Renfrow’s numbers weren’t much different from the rest of Clemson’s receivers or tight ends. Not one pass catcher recorded a receiving touchdown against Boston College.

Clemson must execute much better against Virginia Tech if they hope to remain undefeated. The Hokies have a pesky defense, looking to force turnovers combined with a potent offensive attack. Kelly Bryant and the Tigers’ wide outs need to find their rhythm as points will be at a premium in Blacksburg.
