The Clemson football team will host the Boston College Eagles in Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Here is our pick against the spread for the matchup.

The Clemson football team hosts the Boston College in Death Valley on Saturday.

The Tigers improved to 3-0 with a 47-21 win over Louisville last week and look to keep the winning streak going this week.

Clemson also comes into the game 3-0  against the spread.

Boston College, on the other hand, is 1-2 overall with big losses to Notre Dame and Wake Forest in back-to-back weeks.

Here is our pick against the spread for the game this weekend.

Clemson Football Spread Prediction:

Current Spread: Clemson -32.5

Spread Prediction: Clemson football, as stated above, is 3-0 against the spread. The Tigers have currently performed above expectations and I can’t seem to pick against them for that reason.

This game will be interesting to see how the Tigers respond to success.

More from Rubbing the Rock

Clemson football has been out to prove the naysayers wrong in the first three games. Now, most have the Tigers as one of the top-two teams in the nation.

That’s a slight change.

Clemson will need to come out focused and ready to go. If they do that, they will have an opportunity beat the spread. 32.5 is certainly a lot of points, but I believe the Tigers will find a way.

Current Over/Under: 51.5

Over/Under Prediction: If it’s a blowout like we all hope it will be, then take the “over.”

I believe Clemson football is capable of scoring 51+ on their own.

Boston College’s defense is not what it was a couple of years ago. The Eagles are one of the worst run defenses in the nation and the pass defense isn’t much better.

Notre Dame scored 49 and Wake Forest scored 34.

I find it hard to believe that Clemson football at home won’t at least get to 40, most likely more. The trends have taken the “under,” but I would advise taking the “over” in this one.
