The Clemson football program will open up conference play this weekend against the Louisville Cardinals. Here’s a TV guide to help you stay on top of all the best matchups in week 3.

The first two weeks of the 2017 college football season have been a roller coaster ride. There have been miraculous upsets and outright beat-downs. With it being so early in the season, we have more questions than answers for most of the programs in the country.

Week three does not offer as many intriguing matchups as last week, however, there are a few contests worth keeping an eye on. Let’s take a look at the games that Clemson football fans should pay attention to.

12:00 p.m. slate of games:

Oklahoma State vs. Pittsburgh

Air Force vs. Michigan

UCLA vs. Memphis

3:30 p.m. slate of games:

7:30 p.m. matchup:

The game I am most excited to watch this weekend is LSU and Mississippi State. During the offseason there was plenty of hype surrounding Bulldogs quarterback, Nick Fitzgerald and LSU offensive coordinator, Matt Canada. Both Fitzgerald and Canada have a chance to prove themselves this weekend.

This game is especially important for Canada, considering LSU’s subpar offense has kept them from competing for SEC Championships and possibly more over the past five seasons. This Mississippi State defense is the first test Canada will face in Baton Rouge.

It’ll be interesting to see how reigning Heisman trophy winner, Lamar Jackson fares against Clemson’s elite defense. He was able to put up 36 points in a loss to the Tigers last season. It will likely take an even better performance to defeat Clemson this time around.
