Analysis:
Overall, the ACC went about as chalk as you could go in Week 2. Louisville defeated North Carolina, Clemson was able to beat Auburn, and everyone else played lower-level FBS or FCS opponents.
The conference had just about as bad of a Week 1 as you could have, but bounced back winning the games it was supposed to this past week.
In Week 3, there will several games to watch, which we will get to in just a second.
AP Top-25 Teams:
3. Clemson, 11. Florida State, 14. Louisville, 16. Virginia Tech, 17. Miami.
Currently, the ACC has five teams in the top-20 of the AP Poll. Clemson football leads the charge at No. 3, with FSU and Louisville following up in the top-15.
Florida State and Miami did not play this week because of Hurricane Irma and their game has been moved to October 7th.
Personally, I’m not shocked that Oklahoma moved ahead of Clemson to No. 2, but I definitely disagree. The silver lining is that the polls don’t necessarily matter and I believe the Sooners will lose in the next couple of weeks anyway, so that will all take care of itself as long as the Tigers win.
