Analysis:

It wasn’t pretty, but Clemson football came away with the win and that’s all that matters. The defense proved just how good they are capable of being.

They finished with 11 sacks and 13 tackles for loss and basically carried the Tigers to a victory.

I was also impressed with Kelly Bryant and how he faced adversity.

He made some really good throws after the offense had a terrible start in the first quarter. After being injured and missing a play, he came back out with a vengeance.

He rushed for both of Clemson’s touchdowns against what may be the best defense the Tigers will face all season. The Clemson football offense still has a ways to go, but they definitely took strides over those three quarters of play.

I think it will be interesting to see what happens at the running back position as Choice or Feaster may overtake Fuller in the next couple of weeks.

What’s Next:

Overall, Clemson got the win over a very good Auburn team, but there’s no rest for the weary.

In just a week, the Tigers will have to make their first road trip of the season and head up to Louisville, Kentucky.

The Cardinals are led by 2016 Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson and this game may very well decide the winner of the ACC Atlantic.
