2. Who steps up?

This is it.

This will be the game in which several position battles, in my opinion will be won and lost.

Under the lights in Death Valley on national television, which Clemson football players will step up? We talked about it earlier with Kelly Bryant, but there are several other positions that need players to step up for the Tigers.

Who is going to be the feature running back?

Right now, according to Clemson’s depth chart, C.J. Fuller will get the first chance and then Adam Choice and Tavien Feaster are still listed as co-backups. Travis Etienne is still listed fourth.

One of these guys need to step up.

The Tigers need to have a running back they can rely upon to get quality yardage when it matters.

At wide receiver, you need to see some of those young guys grow up and provide depth.

Clemson has nine NFL-caliber receivers, but there were still some dropped passes by the second and third string guys.

They’ve got to clean that up.

Defensively, I want to see what the Tigers have behind their starters.

It’s clear that the Clemson football starters on defense are some of the best in the nation, but depth needs to be established in order for the Tigers to play at their highest level.

Who steps up?

That’s the question we will all be asking ourselves Saturday night.
