Clemson football started the 2017 season with a bang, defeating the Kent State Golden Flashes 56-3 in Death Valley on Saturday.

Now the Tigers face a showdown with the Tigers of the SEC in a game that certainly has College Football Playoff implications.

Auburn defeated Georgia Southern 41-7.

This matchup has become somewhat a rivalry over the last few seasons. Last year, Clemson football edged out War Eagle in Jordan-Hare Stadium by a score of 19-13.
