Of course, there’s football going on Saturday, but you may have forgotten one of the coolest things about the Kent State home-opener.
The Tigers will be celebrating their 2016 National Championship.
That, in and of itself, is one of the most intriguing storylines of the season opener for 2017. For the first time, Clemson football fans will get to see the new signage and much more.

It’s going to be a festive atmosphere and I’d expect more fans there than if this was just a normal season-opener against Kent State.
It should be a lot of fun and should be a fun time of celebration and refocusing as Clemson football gets ready for its 2017 run.
