Clemson Football: 5 Storylines to Watch vs. Kent State
2. What do the freshmen look like?
Dabo Swinney and Co. signed 14 freshmen in the 2017 recruiting class.
7 of them are listed on the depth chart.
On offense, you have Travis Etienne, wide receivers Tee Higgins and Amari Rodgers, and quarterback Hunter Johnson.
Defensively, there’s DE Justin Foster, DE Logan Rudolph, and CB A.J. Terrell.
I’m ready to see these guys get on the field.
Tee Higgins just looks like he’s already ready. He is tall and extremely explosive. Amari Rodgers has earned praises from the Clemson football coaching staff all fall camp.
The same can be said about Travis Etienne.
Hunter Johnson will take over Clemson’s offense at some point Saturday. That will certainly be exciting to watch.
All of these guys taking the field have a chance to prove themselves right off the bat. I believe this 2017 class was one of the best in Clemson football history and Saturday, they begin their quest to continue what the classes before them started.
