No. 5 – Kelvin Harmon (WR) NC State

NC State has high expectations coming into the 2017 season. Their stout defensive line has been the talk of the offseason, however, their offense has a few weapons up their sleeve.

Rising sophomore wide receiver, Kelvin Harmon is going to be handful for opposing defensive backs this season. As a true freshman, Harmon hauled in 27 receptions for 462 yards and five touchdowns. Harmon gashed opponents averaging 17.1 yards per catch.

Standing 6-foot-3, 196 pounds, Harmon is a big-bodied, physical target for Wolfpack quarterback, Ryan Finley. In 2016, he showcased his ability to attack the football in the air, which can sometimes be an issue for taller receivers.

Harmon’s career is off to a blistering start as he set a school record for touchdown receptions by a freshman. With a year of starting experience under his belt and a full offseason in NC State’s strength and conditioning program, Harmon only figures to improve coming into his sophomore year.

With Clemson’s firepower on offense, the Wolfpack will need to put the ball in the endzone if they have any hopes of winning. Kelvin Harmon will surely provide some assistance in that area.
