3. Clemson gets Florida State at home

I believe that Louisville and N.C. State could both compete in the ACC Atlantic in 2017, but we all know who the main competition is: The Florida State Seminoles.

The Clemson-FSU game has decided the ACC Champion for the last half-decade and I don’t know that this season is going to be any different.

Even if the Tigers lose to Louisville, as we said earlier, in September, Florida State will beat the Cardinals and I still suspect that Louisville will slip up somewhere else, as well. That will set up a showdown in Death Valley for the ACC Atlantic Title.

The keywords there? Death Valley.

The Tigers get Florida State at home this season. They don’t have to travel down to Tallahassee and deal with the Tomahawk Chop and the hostile crowd.

Instead, Clemson would be matching up with the Seminoles in the friendly confines of Memorial Stadium with 80,000+ behind them.

It could very well be a College Football classic and the Tigers could find themselves on the losing side for once, but I wouldn’t bet against Dabo Swinney (39-3 at home since 2011) in Death Valley.
