Despite what the folks out in Southern California want to tell you, Clemson football is still Wide Receiver U.
The Tigers lose Mike Williams, Artavis Scott, and TE Jordan Leggett from last year’s receiving attack, but there is still plenty of talent to replace those guys.

This wide receiver group is the deepest in Clemson football history. That talent and depth has to also make the transition at quarterback much easier.
The truth is this: No defense is going to be able to guard all of the Tigers’ receivers.
Between Deon Cain, Tee Higgins, Hunter Renfrow, Amari Rodgers, and others, there’s just too much talent for a defense to match up. Any quarterback with a decent arm and football mind is going to be able to find an open man.
That passing threat very well may be the difference in Clemson getting back to the College Football Playoff.
