Martavis Bryant has been reinstated in the NFL and can participate for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The former Clemson football receiver is now able to practice and play in preseason games.

Bryant missed the entire 2016 season because of multiple substance abuse violations including absences from drug tests and a prior four game suspension in 2015.

He was conditionally reinstated on April 25 which essentially allowed him back on the team.

Yesterday, Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert released this statement below via the team’s official website Steelers.com.

"Martavis Bryant has been informed by the NFL that he is now permitted to participate in all preseason activities, including practices and games. He will continue to be evaluated as to his readiness to participate in regular-season activities under the terms of his conditional reinstatement."

So far, so good for Bryant, however, one failed drug test could end his NFL career. If you ask him, he knows what he’s facing and feels confident that he is prepared to move forward in his career and in life. Bryant told NFL Live on ESPN.

“I mean. I know it’s my last chance. I’m not going to think every day like and wake up every day. Oh, it’s my last chance. Oh, it’s my last chance. I know that, so it’s all about correcting what I did.” He said, “I got stuff set-up to prevent me from going down that path.”

Bryant was selected in the 4th round of the 2014 draft but has flaunted all-star talent since entering the league. In 21 career games, he has 76 catches, 1314 yards and 15 touchdowns. His combination of size(6’4), speed(4.4)and agility is even rare for the NFL.

If he remains clean and stays healthy, then everyone will finally get to see what he can really do.
