The first week and a half of fall camp hasn’t been particularly kind to Clemson football. There haven’t been any serious injuries, but many yellow jerseys.

The one thing that remains true about fall camp, no matter where, is that players will go down with injuries. The same is true for Clemson football.

The good news about the Tigers, however, is that there haven’t been any serious injuries since the beginning of practice.

Here is the list of players who were either limited or non-contact in last night’s practice. Keep in mind that a Green Jersey is “limited” and a Yellow Jersey is “non-contact.”

Clemson Football Injury Report:

  • S Van Smith, Green Jersey
  • TE Shadell Bell (walking boot), Yellow Jersey
  • WR Amari Rodgers, Yellow Jersey
  • WR Cornell Powell, Yellow Jersey
  • WR Kanyon Tuttle, Yellow Jersey
  • OL Tyrone Crowder, Yellow Jersey
  • DE Clelin Ferrell, Yellow Jersey
  • LB Chad Smith, Yellow Jersey
  • LB Logan Rudolph, Yellow Jersey
  • CB Mark Fields, Yellow Jersey

That’s a big list of players who were either limited or not allowed to full contact.

Now, most of these guys just have something along the lines of a pulled hamstring or tweaked ankle. The coaching staff is extremely cautious about it’s players and they will not risk putting one in a place that could result in a serious injury.

You never want to see that many guys, especially names that are going to be starters, out.

The good news, however, is that none of those are serious injuries. Ray-Ray McCloud was also back working full-go in catching drills and he worked with the cornerbacks as well.
