Saturday, November 11th: vs. Florida State Seminoles

This matchup has been the ACC Atlantic Championship game for the last half-decade and I don’t believe this year will be any different.

Both of these teams, in my opinion, will come into the game with one loss most likely and still fully alive in the College Football Playoff race.

This game won’t just decide the winner of the ACC Atlantic, but also a spot in the College Football Playoff. Florida State will be looking for revenge after losing at home last season, but Clemson will be ready.

The game being scheduled in November is a definite plus for the Tigers this season.

By this point, Clemson football will have their quarterback situation resolved and everyone will know their role. I think that very well may be the difference.

Whether it’s Kelly Bryant or Hunter Johnson, the starting quarterback will also be playing at home in front of 80,000+ Tiger fans, which is a lot easier than going on the road to play in Tallahassee.

This could be a battle of the decade. Both teams could come into the game ranked in the top-four depending upon what happens around the rest of the country.

It certainly won’t be easy, but as far as Vegas is concerned, Clemson will either be a slight favorite due to home field advantage or this game will be a “pick em.”
