2. Can Clemson finally get a viable returner?

Do you remember the last time Clemson football had a viable return game?

Honestly, the duo of C.J. Spiller and Jacoby Ford is the last time that I can think of in which the Tigers really presented a threat to take the ball back to the house on a punt or kick return.

As a matter of fact, I spent the majority of last season holding my breath that the returner just wouldn’t fumble the ball back to the opposing team.

This is the year that I think the Tigers finally get a talented returner.

Between Tavien Feaster, Tee Higgins, Deon Cain, an experienced Ray Ray McCloud, Cornell Powell, and a host of others, I think Clemson football will put someone back there that can finally make a little noise in the return game.

Instead of returning putting pressure on Tiger fans, the opposing fans will be the ones holding their breaths.

It all starts with catching and hanging on to the football. If any of those guys, or others not mentioned, can do that, they all have the ability to make some things happen. It’s amazing how a return can change the complexion of a game and the Tigers very well may need that this season.
