5. What will happen at the quarterback position?

Let’s go ahead and get the obvious one out of the way.

The eyes of every single spectator will be on the quarterbacks tomorrow and throughout fall camp. There won’t be a practice go by that we don’t hear something from the Clemson football quarterback staff.

One day you might hear how great Hunter Johnson was.

The next you might hear how Kelly Bryant stole the shows with an excellent run. The next it may be about Zerrick Cooper and his balance. Tucker Israel may even get a mention at some point.

The big burning question is simple, though: Who will start and who will play against Kent State?

Tiger fans will need to read past the fluff and look for specific examples and circumstances to predict who they will see week one and throughout the season.

Look for who steps up as a leader. Also, look to see who has command of the offense. The coaching staff is going to go with who they believe has the best grasp of the system, not necessarily the most talented player.

I’m extremely excited to see how the quarterbacks perform- especially Kelly Bryant and Hunter Johnson- and believe this battle will continue through more than just fall camp.
