The Clemson Football program has solidified itself among the elite teams in the country. Their success on the field is paying off on the recruiting trail as well. The Tigers were able to lure Amari Rodgers away from his father Tee Martin and USC in 2017, can they repeat their success in 2018 with Jordyn Adams?

Clemson has been hot on the trail of 2018 wide receiver prospect, Jordyn Adams out of Blythewood High School in Blythewood, SC.

Adams is the son of North Carolina defensive line coach, Deke Adams. In his recently released top five, Adams listed the likes of North Carolina, Clemson, Ohio State, Alabama and LSU.

Adams has been seen as a North Carolina lean for sometime now and that would make complete sense with his family ties. That being said, if anybody can make a run at the Tar Heels for Adams’ services it is Clemson.

Jeff Scott recently visited Adams during the beginning of the spring evaluation period. Adams has not given a specific commitment date, however this summer will be crucial for the Tigers. Should they get him on campus for their annual “cook out” visit, I like Clemson’s chances at pulling the upset.

During the Opening Regional camp in Charlotte, NC this past weekend, Adams shined. He won multiple one-on-one reps and displayed smooth, next level speed.
