2018 defensive tackle prospect, Darnell Jeffries, out of Newton High School in Covington, Georgia recently listed Clemson in his top 10.
Clemson’s 2018 recruiting class currently holds eight commitments, including the likes of Trevor Lawrence and Xavier Thomas, the No. 1 and 2 prospects in the country according to 247sports composite rankings.
While the Tigers have clearly put in a considerable amount of work on the recruiting trail already, they are far from through. Dabo Swinney and his staff are hot on the trail of a handful of elite prospects, including Darnell Jeffries.
Now that Jeffries released an official top 10, his recruitment is much more clear. Clemson has been the perceived leader in Jeffries recruitment for some time now. He has received 11 crystal ball predictions for Clemson since the month of March.
