With the round of 64 coming to a close last night, so did the hopes and dreams of picking a perfect bracket for most people. Without further ado, lets get into the standings in the Rubbing The Rock NCAA Tournament Challenge group.

1. JMoney:

  • Points: 280
  • Percent correct: 98.6

2. Carly@thebomb.com:

Points: 280

More from Rubbing the Rock

Percent correct: 98.6

3.  Mobster1960 2:

  • Points: 270
  • Percent correct: 94.9

4. Macho_Man007 2:

  • Points: 270
  • Percent correct: 94.9

5. 56-7:

  • Points: 260
  • Percent correct: 86.1

These five individuals are currently whooping my behind, as I only predicted 68.2 percent of the games correctly. It will be interesting to see how the points shake out as the tournament progresses.

What would March be without the madness that is the NCAA Tournament. One could argue that we as the bracketologists are under more pressure than the players themselves. Sure they can dunk a basketball between their legs, but, can they endure the pressure of picking the perfect bracket? I think not. NCAA Championships are won each year, but, no one in the history of bracketology has ever correctly picked a perfect bracket.
