Jadar Johnson (S) Orangeburg, South Carolina:
Class: Senior
Height: 6’0 ft

Best Attributes:
Clemson Tigers Football
Jadar Johnson had to bide his time at Clemson behind the likes of T.J. Green and Jayron Kearse. During his first full season as a starter, Johnson displayed elite range and ball skills. Johnson led Clemson in interceptions in 2016 with five.
Johnson’s best attribute is perspective. In all likelihood, he is going to be a mid-to-late round pick, which means he will be buried on the depth chart early on in his career. Luckily for Johnson he has had to wait his turn to play before at Clemson. If there is any player who understands the importance of patience.
Expectations:
I expect Jadar Johnson to perform well at the combine, especially on the broad jump and the vertical jump. Johnson will also do well in the field drills, because of his ability to track the football and then make a clean catch. There are few defensive backs in this draft class with ball skills like Jadar Johnson.
As I previously stated, I do not expect Johnson to be drafted within the first three rounds of the draft, however, he will be a late-round steal for whoever chooses him. Johnson needs time to develop in the NFL, so it would be best for him to be drafted by an established organization.
