Jordan Leggett was a late bloomer at Clemson, bursting on to the scene as a junior with 40 catches for 525 yards and 8 touchdowns. Leggett followed that performance with 46 catches for 736 yards and 7 touchdowns as a senior.

This draft class is chock-full of talent at tight-end, from Alabama’s O.J. Howard to Virginia Tech’s Bucky Hodges. What separates Leggett from the other tight ends in this draft class is his versatility. Leggett is a dangerous receiving threat, however, he is also a strong run blocker. Being asked to both block and catch passes at Clemson will serve Leggett well in the NFL.

Expectations:

Jordan Leggett is not very fast, as such he will not impress in the 40-yd dash or the shuttle. With that said, I expect Jordan Leggett to impress scouts with his body control and sure hands. Leggett has no issue with concentration drops and he is able to contort his body in the air to make acrobatic catches.

Due to the depth that this draft class has at tight-end, I think Jordan Leggett will fall in the draft some. Leggett will likely be a mid-round pick, which is a steal in my opinion. Leggett is a reliable target on third down and in the red-zone.
