SEC East

The SEC East has one really talented team, one team with a solid defense and no offense, one team that has no clue what they’re doing, and then a dumpster fire at the bottom.

This is Tennessee’s division to lose, but don’t get it twisted: The Vols have choked before and certainly could choke again.

Tennessee is the clear favorite to win the SEC East and has the most talent, but they have to prove it on the field. Joshua Dobbs is one of the nation’s best quarterbacks and the Volunteers have a stockpile of talent all over the field.

Here are some key games to watch within the SEC East:

  • Florida at Tennessee, September 24th
  • Tennessee at Georgia, October 1st
  • Georgia at Florida, October 29th

As far as the Vols’ opponents go….

Florida has no offense and Georgia has no clue what they’re doing. The Bulldogs still have not named a starting quarterback and it seems that there is more uncertainty around the program right now than there was a month ago. That should not be the case.

South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky might as well be in a Group of Five conference.

If Tennessee does not win the East this season, they very well may never win the division.
