Clemson Football: Sweet Home, Death Valley

The end of the season always concludes with the newly coined “Palmetto Bowl”. Clemson has
righted the ship as of late. Winners of the last two games versus the hated Gamecocks.
As a matter of fact, Deshaun Watson declared, to his high school coach, that he promised to never lose to the Gamecocks. I don’t have to tell you what this game means.
Families divided, friends turn to enemies, ect ect. Will Muschamp is the new ball coach in Columbia this year.
It’ll be interesting to see how he navigates the season leading up to the game with the Tigers. It’ll be an emotional day in Death Valley regardless of who the opponent is.

This is likely the last game on Frank Howard Field for Deshaun Watson, Wayne Gallman, Mike Williams, Ben Boulwre, Carlos Watkins and more. I’d have to imagine that those guys will fight tooth and nail to keep the Palmetto Bowl trophy in Tiger-Town, and their legacy in tact.
