7. The special teams are still a problem

Anybody remember this?

Special Teams lost the National Championship for Clemson football back in January and it was a concern heading into this spring. After watching the spring game, they are still a problem.

The Tigers allowed Artavis Scott two big returns- one on a punt and one on a kick off- but that’s not all.

The kicking was bad and the punting was lackluster. This needs to be at the fore-front of the coach’s minds going forward.

In my opinion, special teams are the biggest concern for the 2016 Clemson football team. Every time the Tigers kickoff,  I hold my breath and hope there isn’t a big return. That should not be the case.

It will be interesting to see what the staff is going to do to fix the problem, but one thing’s for sure: You can count on Dabo and company to fix the kinks. You have to trust that the coaching staff knows what they are doing and will pinpoint the problem.
