6. The Clemson offense is not even halfway to their potential.

Let’s not even talk about the fact that the Clemson offense hasn’t even fully opened up their playbook nor have they taken many shots down the field. Now, I know that part of it is because of Mike William’s injury, but the Tigers have still limited their play-calling.

They started to open it up a little against Notre Dame, but the rain impeded them from doing much other than a basic play book. Last week against Georgia Tech, the Tigers took some shots down field and started to look like last year’s offense with Deshaun Watson.

I expect to start seeing more and more of the playbook being opened up and the defense to become more and more spread out. This will make the Tigers even more dangerous and put them in position to be a dominant offense.

Just keep the offense in mind as the season progresses, I expect them to look even better as we get into the thick of October and November.
