The one thing we are going to see from the Appalachian State Mountaineers is the spread offense. The Mountaineers will try to go fast and throw the ball with quarterback Taylor Lamb. The Mountaineers also have far more talented athletes than that of the Wofford Terriers.

With all of that being said, the Clemson defensive backs will be tested for, really, the first time this season. Wofford did not throw the ball but a couple of times and the corner backs played a bigger role in the run-game, rather than the pass-game. This week, Mackenzie Alexander and Cordrea Tankersley will be tested.

I know what Alexander brings to the table, but I want to see Cordrea Tankersley tried and pushed to his limits this week. Why? I want him to be ready when he travels up to Louisville Thursday night. The Cardinals will test the Clemson secondary and I want them to be ready for it. Hopefully, this week prepares Cordrea Tankersley for the rest of the season and shows how good of a corner back he can be.
