The Clemson defensive line

It was far too tough to name just one of these young men off this group. The defensive line may have been the most impressive group of the day, playing with a chip on their shoulder and being downright nasty. Scott Pagano, Shaq Lawson, Kevin Dodd, Carlos Watkins, Christian Wilkins, and several others all stepped up and stuffed the Terriers’ run game.

The Tigers did a great job winning at the point of attack all day and many times they were in the backfield before the play got started. It was too hard to pick just one of these guys, but this group was awesome and it makes me excited to see what they will do the rest of the season and how much they will improve.

The talent is certainly there and the leadership is there. These guys are motivated and they are playing with a swagger. There’s no limit to what this group can do and this line may prove to be just as good as that of last season’s.
