T.J. Green

T.J. Green led the Clemson defense in tackles, totaling 10 on the day and 2.5 for loss. Normally, the last thing you want for your defense is for the safety to be the leading tackler, but T.J. Green looked impressive and showed how much work he has put in the off season preparing for this year.

Green did get caught with his eyes in the backfield and it went for a huge Wofford gain early in the second half, but he made up for it stopping the Wofford option and doing a good job in coverage from there on out. Green showed his athleticism and physicality Saturday and hopefully he will continue to show just how good he can be.
